A must-share very inspiring passage

I was already in bed and trying to continue "God's Answers To Life's Difficult Questions" by Rick Warren. I continued where I left it last time. But I must give credit to God, the paragraph that I continued is like a GOD-SENT message to me during this exam period !! I then pulled myself to switch on my MacBook and I cannot resist to put these up here:

APPROPRIATE GOD'S PRESENCE IN YOUR LIFE (P. 32)

A clue to the first principle of success is found in Luke 5:3: Jesus was in the boat with the disciples......You must appropriate God's presence in your life. In other words, you have to get Jesus in your boat. Nothing has greater influence on your personal success than whether or not you are living with Christ in your life. For Peter, his boat represented his livelihood. When you're a fisherman, your boat is your business! It's significant that Peter made his boat available for Jesus to use......

Does God have access to your job? Is your job available for him to use at any time ? Is he able to minister to people through your job? Too often we try to separate the secular and the spiritual; we have our Christian life nicely partitioned off from our career. But this prevent God from blessing your business or job. And the truth is, God will bless anything you give him. If you give him all your life, he will bless all of it. But if you give him just a part of it, he will bless just that one part.

********************

That has completely made me reflect to myself how much I've given my job to God. 15 mins ago before I settled myself in bed I was still telling a friend of mine how much I strive for changing career field and how much I am really learning from my current job. I must and ought to leave everything with God, too often we tell ourselves and our bros & sis that God has His plans for us... we shall pray for it and seek from God's words... to be truthfully honest, sometimes I do forget to leave that with God, and I hope God forgives my forgetfulness. But here it is, God is once again talking to me through different channel. I shall give 100% of my everything to God and let him bless the 100% of it.

Thankyou God for talking to me through this book - I know it is You because I'm touched already when continuing the paragraph where I left of. Thankyou for the endless reminders all the time. Through you, I can see HOPE :)

In Jesus name,
Amen.
